Honeymoon Part 1

I wanted to go ahead and start on the honeymoon posts! We didn't leave for our honeymoon until the Thursday after the wedding and I am actually very glad we decided to do this. We were able to come back to South Carolina and get somewhat settled before leaving for the honeymoon and I enjoyed that. We left early Thursday morning and drove down to Orlando. We got into Orlando right in time for dinner which worked out perfectly. We headed to Universal Studios Boardwalk where we walked around and then headed to Margaritaville for dinner. It was good, but way too overpriced for my liking. We enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. We then headed to the outlet malls and racked up at the Polo Outlet. We were quite pleased!
We then went back to our hotel and hit the sack pretty early after being in the car all day!

We had plans to go to the Disney waterpark on Friday but it was very overcast and we didn't want to spend that kind of money to end the day early due to storms. We are sure thankful we made that decision because we had downpours around 1pm. Instead, we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom! I have never been to a Disney park, so this was a first for me. We had a blast!! My favorite part was the African safari! So much, that we did it twice! We ate BBQ for lunch inside the park and it was very very good. We left shortly after the downpour started and headed to Ft. Lauderdale where our ship was setting sail on Saturday.

For dinner we stopped right outside Ft. Lauderdale to eat at a place that was on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It was very yummy! (I can't remember the name of it...). We then got to our hotel that was in an interesting part of Ft. Lauderdale called Hollywood, FL. Definitely very different than Hollywood, CA :) We made a Target run for a few things and then went to bed early again! Aren't we already just a fun and entertaining married couple!
